Antique Victorian Mahogany Writing Table c.1880
A refined late Victorian writing table in solid mahogany, featuring a clean, well figured rectangular top over two frieze drawers with attractive original pressed brass drop handles, all raised on ring turned legs terminating in brass and ceramic castors.
A generous and practical writing table, offering plenty of surface area while retaining a light visual presence. The drawers are notably well made and run smoothly, with the decorative brass handles giving a touch of formality and period charm.
Presented in very good antique condition with a warm, even patina and only minor surface wear consistent with age. Structurally solid, clean, and ready to place in the home.
