Antique William IV Rosewood Adjustable Piano Stool c.1830
A William IV rosewood adjustable piano stool, the circular needlework seat within a deep burgundy velvet surround, raised on a turned and carved pedestal with a thick brass adjustable column, atop a tripod base with scroll-carved feet.
Ideal for use as intended at a piano, but also particularly useful today as a dressing table stool, or as a decorative occasional stool in a sitting room.
Very good antique condition with some surface wear consistent with age and some historic veneer repairs to the base. Structurally sound, well presented and ready to place in the home.
English, circa 1830.
