Antique Georgian Mahogany Bow-Front Writing Table c.1810
A fine Georgian mahogany writing table of bow-front form, the top with a reeded edge over a single long frieze drawer fitted with likely original oval brass handles with neoclassical lyre decoration, all raised on slender ring turned legs.
An attractive writing table ideal for use in a living space as much as a study, and equally suited as a side table in a sitting room or hallway.
Very good antique condition with surface wear consistent with age. The top has some aged shrinkage lines with a corresponding historic underside strengthening repair. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place.
