Antique Victorian Carved Oak Green Man Side Chair c.1890
A late Victorian carved oak side chair of strong, upright proportion. The high back is centred by a deeply carved foliate panel beneath a shaped crest rail with a carved Green Man mask, all above a rush seat and a stretchered base with turned front legs.
Very good antique condition with some surface wear consistent with age. The rush seat is in good order and remains firm and stable. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
