Antique Arts & Crafts 19th Century Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee Mahogany Elbow Chair
An Arts & Crafts movement Queen Victoria 1897 Diamond Jubilee commemorative mahogany elbow chair.
A wonderful piece of history, the seat panel has been reupholstered ready for use, but the original, now rather threadbare back is in place with the commemorative shield still visible. To the top of the chair there is a further inlaid commemoration.
Very good condition, structurally all solid with just some attractive aged wear to the mahogany surfaces and obvious wear to the original upholstery kept in place for posterity.
English, late 19th century.
