A late 19th-century Aesthetic Movement tiger bamboo occasional table of square form, the original timeworn hand-painted japanned black lacquer top raised on four subtly splayed bamboo legs united by stretchers.
Charming and conveniently proportioned, ideal as an accent piece in a hallway, bay window, or beside a chair.
Presented in very good antique condition, with aged wear and scattered surface losses to the lacquered top. Structurally sound and stable, retaining a rich, warm patinated finish. Ready to place in the home.
