Gorham Sterling Silver Art Nouveau Spoon
A lovely antique Gorham Art Nouveau sterling silver double sided baby spoon featuring possibly the figure of an angel holding flowers in her gown, with the reverse depicting the rear of the figure with flowing locks of hair. The handle is thick and heavy and the spoon is not monogrammed.
Stamped Sterling Silver and hallmarked with the Gorham makers mark G.M.Co, with a Birmingham import mark and 1914 date letter, along with the pattern reference H143. Good condition, no damage, only wear consistent with the age.
Manufactured in Providence, Rhode Island, USA, imported and hallmarked in Birmingham, 1914.
