Antique Georgian Mahogany Pedestal Wine Table c.1820
A superb quality George III wine table, crafted in solid mahogany and dating to the early 19th century. The well-proportioned circular top rests over a substantial turned column with elegant ring turnings, all raised on a beautiful splayed tripod base.
Exceptionally well-made — tactile, weighty, with rich, warm, mellow tones developed over more than two centuries.
Very good condition, structurally all sound with only some light age related surface wear and a few characterful solid old repairs that speak to its history rather than detract from it.
