A charming Aesthetic Movement bamboo work table with the original lacquered top decorated in the Japonisme style opening to a large storage area with original paper-lined interior, all raised on thick bamboo legs united by an attractively shaped geometric stretcher.
Full of character and decorative flair, this light and sculptural piece makes a lovely accent table with useful storage, perfect for a living room, hallway or as a feature bedside table.
Presented in very good antique condition with a rich aged patina to both bamboo and lacquer surfaces. Structurally all sound, beautifully clean and ready to place in the home.
