Antique Victorian Bamboo Three-Tier Occasional Table c.1890
A late Victorian bamboo occasional table with a japanned top and two lower tiers. The bamboo frame is neatly proportioned, with a bound edge to the top, gently splayed legs and typical diagonal decorative corner braces beneath the top.
The tiered format is typical of Aesthetic Movement bamboo furniture of the period, suited to light display and everyday use.
Very good antique condition with some aged surface wear to the japanned top. Structurally sound with slight movement, as can be the case with bamboo tables of this type, clean and ready to place in the home.
