Victorian Mahogany Fold Over Console Card Table
A great quality Victorian mahogany fold over card table. Wonderful console form when folded, with carved decoration and octagonal tapered pedestal above quad form base with smooth running, original castors. The tabletop rotates to reveal an internal drawer, and folds over to extend the tabletop to double the size.
Very good general condition with only some light age related wear to the tabletop. The lower tabletop when folded has some aged splits as shown, but the integrity of the piece is unaffected, and there is a small amount of veneer missing from the tabletop edge. The table is solid and sturdy in all positions, and the folding elements all work smoothly and seamlessly.
