Antique Victorian Mahogany Games Table / Chess Table
An exceptional late 19th century games table with the inlaid checkerboard chess table top opening to a wonderfully fitted interior with particularly impressive inlaid decoration to the underside of the tabletop.
The large tapering lower storage compartment is adorned with attractive carved decoration and terminates in a superbly ornate tripod base.
Very good condition, structurally all in good order with only some light age related surface wear and some little nibbles to the edges of the feet.
