Vintage African Tanzanian Hehe Round Tribal Carved Tripod Stool
Very good condition, structurally in good order with some fabulous aged surface wear. There is an aged split to the centre of the seat which goes through to the underside but the stool is sturdy and solid as a rock, this feature is part of the piece’s charm and serves to demonstrate the genuine age of the piece compared to later examples produced for the tourist market. There is also a small aged chip to one of the nobules around the seat edge (see images).
