A handsome late 18th century oak side table, the well-figured rectangular top over two drawers fitted with brass drop handles, raised on elegant turned legs united by box stretchers. The piece is crowned by a finely hand-carved scrollwork gallery, adding dramatic decorative appeal.
With a rich colour and patina enhanced by centuries of gentle use, this is an immensely characterful piece - ideal as a side table, console, or hall table.
Presented in very good antique condition, structurally sound and ready to place in the home.
