Antique 19th Century Circular Leather Seat Mahogany Piano Stool
A superb Victorian mahogany circular piano stool upholstered in a fine burgundy leather, raised on four lovely bulbous turned legs united by a cross stretcher and central column.
This is a beautiful piece with a well functioning height adjustable seat. Very good overall condition, structurally all in very good order, there is a very slight wobble to the seat when raised as to be expected and this is not excessive.
There are a couple of minor losses to the tips of the splayed feet and a very old repair where one of the stretchers joins the central column, but on the whole this is a superb quality, largely original example with masses of character.
English, late 19th century.
