Antique Early Victorian Elm Seat Farmhouse Country Windsor Chair
A superb mid 19th century slat back windsor chair of excellent form with high back and wonderfully contoured arms, raised on finely turned legs joined by a H stretcher.
Very good condition, this one has had a lot of woodworm in the past many years ago which has all been treated and is long gone, which actually makes for an attractive aesthetic in many ways but this is personal taste.
The chair is structurally all in good order, nice and solid with just some incredible aged surface wear and patina. There is a very old repair to one of the feet, again adding to the character and charm of this stunning piece.
