Antique French 19th Century Walnut Bergere Cane Side Chair
A superb late 19th century French walnut side chair with an incredibly comfortable low seated position and attractive cane seat and backrest. The chair is raised on wonderfully turned front legs united by a decoratively turned front stretcher, and marked C.S. to the rear leg (maker unknown).
Very good condition, structurally all sturdy with only some light age related surface wear commensurate with age and use.
