Antique Georgian Mahogany Corner Stand c.1810
A late George III line inlaid mahogany corner stand with a hinged double folding scalloped top opening to reveal the original fitted washstand apertures, set over a middle tier with a single drawer, raised on slender legs united by a shaped undertier.
Originally intended as a corner washstand, the piece now works particularly well as a bedside or corner stand on a landing or in a hallway.
Very good antique condition with some surface wear consistent with age and use. Features a good historic repair to the rear edge of the top. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
English, circa 1810.
