Antique Golden Oak Occasional Table c.1920
A simple early 20th century English oak occasional table. Modest, functional and well made, lightly influenced by the Arts & Crafts vernacular tradition, the scalloped top sits above shaped and fluted square legs joined by box stretchers. The quarter-sawn oak is of particularly good quality, showing pronounced figuring and a rich golden tone throughout.
Presented in excellent antique condition with a warm, even patina and only very minor surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound, beautifully clean and ready to place in the home.
English, circa 1920.
