Antique Mid-Victorian Walnut High-Back Parlour Chair c.1850
A mid 19th century walnut high-back parlour chair, the hand-carved pierced cresting rail above barley-twist stiles flanking an upholstered back panel, all set over a generous upholstered seat and raised on carved cabriole front legs terminating in original ceramic castors.
Very good antique condition with minor surface wear, gentle patination and an historic, barely visible repair to the cresting rail. Structurally sound and ready to place in the home.
English, circa 1850.
