A beautifully restored very early oak William & Mary 17th Century chest of drawers dating to around 1690. Features panel sides, two over three graduated drawers and wonderful mahogany cross banding to the drawer fronts.
The colour and surface patina on this piece, particularly to the top and drawer fronts is exceptional, owing to the piece's phenomenal age.
This chest has been lovingly restored, with the bracket feet, handles and interior all having been later additions, the piece is now ready for use in the home with smoothly operating drawers, solid construction and just the most stunning aged wear.
English, circa 1690.
