Antique Victorian Bamboo Occasional Table c.1890
An attractive late Victorian bamboo occasional table of square form raised on three straight bamboo legs arranged in a clever intersecting tripod form, united by three bamboo stretchers forming a triangulated brace. Beautifully original with excellent colour, showcasing the fashionable Aesthetic Movement’s Anglo-Japanese influence of the period.
Very good antique condition with some surface wear to the original woven top surface consistent with age and use. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
