A stylish 19th century black lacquer chinoiserie occasional table, the shaped rectangular top hand-painted in a japanned chinoiserie style with gilt and red foliate decoration.
Raised on slender turned legs united by a stretcher and resting on shaped feet, the ebonised surfaces display a wonderful aged patina, providing real character and a pleasing timeworn aesthetic.
A decorative and functional piece that would work beautifully as a lamp table, occasional table or hallway accent.
Presented in very good antique condition with lots of attractive surface wear. Structurally sound, perfectly clean and ready to place in the home.
