Antique Victorian Circular Carved Mahogany Column Piano Stool
A good little 19th century mahogany piano stool with a tripod base and central bulbous carved column surrounded by three additional turned support columns.
The height adjustable seat is upholstered in a fetching teal fabric and as is often the case, when raised the seat has a good amount of movement due to the thread being worn from use over the years. The stool would be best used with the seat wound all the way down to avoid any movement.
This is an attractive little stool though, with some lovely carved decoration and finely shaped base, in good overall condition and featuring some very nice aged colour and wear.
