A Victorian ebonised hardwood occasional table, the deeply chip-carved circular top set over three turned and carved threaded splayed legs.
Typical of the late 19th-century Arts and Crafts movement, the ornamentation relies on rhythmic, hand-chiseled geometry drawn from regional folk art rather than the machine-stamped embellishments of commercial Victorian production.
Very good antique condition, with minor surface wear and light stable historic hairline grain separation to the edge consistent with natural timber movement over time. Structurally sound and ready to place.
