Antique Victorian Mahogany Caned Occasional Armchair c.1890
A late Victorian mahogany armchair, the shaped caned back within a broad moulded frame and swept open arms flanking a caned seat, all raised on turned front legs.
A nicely proportioned example, later converted and now offering a practical and comfortable chair, complete with a removable fitted cushion.
Very good antique condition with minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The chair is structurally sound, the cane is all in good order, clean and ready to place in the home.
