Antique Victorian Mahogany Metamorphic Writing Desk
A late 19th century marquetry inlaid writing desk of smaller proportions with a metamorphic action providing a slope to the beautifully worn leather writing surface while revealing a fitted storage area to the rear, all raised on square tapering legs terminating in original brass and ceramic castors.
A lovely small wooden button to the rear lowers the desk back to its original flat position.
Very good condition, structurally all sound with some attractive age related surface wear.
