Antique Victorian Oak Vernacular Side Chair c.1850
A mid-19th century North Country vernacular side chair in solid oak, the subtly fanned back over a shallow, curved seat and raised on square legs and stretchers.
Functional lines consistent with practical farmhouse furniture of the period, it works well as a standalone hall chair, desk chair or as a characterful accent in a kitchen or living space.
Very good antique condition with a well-aged patina and light surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
English, circa 1850.
