Japanese Satsuma Bijin Charger
A finely hand painted satsuma earthenware charger dating to around the turn of the century featuring various bijin figures with lots of raised enamel decoration. The charger has been extensively expertly repaired as can be seen in the image of the reverse. A really huge, imposing, fantastic looking piece.
