A charming pair of George III oak side chairs dating to around the turn of the 19th century. The attractive understated backs with shaped centre rails are set over solid plank seats with incised borders, raised on square legs united by low stretchers.
A characterful pair with richly patinated dark oak surfaces and a distinctly vernacular simplicity.
Very good antique condition with minor surface wear, marks and colour variation consistent with age and use. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
