A truly fabulous pair of his and hers Victorian carved walnut parlor chairs. The chairs feature extensive finely carved details to the top rail, seat back supports and arms, with carved serpentine apron and decorative frieze, standing on marvellous highly decorated carved cabriole legs to the front and out swept legs to the back with original brass and ceramic castors.
Upholstered in original fine brocade fabric, all original and in excellent overall condition with some age related surface wear as to be expected. There is a small, minor loss to the carved decoration on the back of the one chair as shown in the final image but this is largely unnoticeable due to the ornate nature of the carving.
English, late 19th century.
